FAQ

What should I consider when heating with wood?Which types of wood should I choose?

To heat the water, use dry wood. Hardwood, such as beech, works best. This type of wood produces less smoke when ignited. Resinous wood can cause black smoke.

Distance from neighbors when heating with wood

There are no specific regulations in Polish law regarding this issue.

Power consumption

Hot tubs with hydromassage equipped only with a wood stove, without electric heating, have a pump with a power of 1.1 kW. This means that one hour of massage consumes 1.1 kW/h. Hybrid hot tubs with heating: the average annual energy consumption to maintain the water temperature at 38°C is around 7.5 kW per day, plus additional usage during hydromassage, but this depends on individual use.

What should be considered when installing hot tubs?

The most important aspects are proper electrical connection, installation of a residual-current device, and grounding of the equipment. The chimney should be installed at a safe distance from flammable materials. The location of the electrical connection must be easily accessible in case repairs are needed. Avoid installing near power outlets or other sources of electricity.

Weight/foundation recommendations

The surface should be level and stable, such as a concrete slab, paving stones, or a wooden deck (in this case, the joists under the deck may need to be spaced slightly closer together than usual). The total weight is 1500 kg, so building a foundation is not necessary.

Maintenance effort

We have designed the equipment to require minimal professional servicing. Regular maintenance includes changing filters, cleaning the stove, and removing the wooden cover to check, for example, if small animals have entered the device. Every user should be able to handle this. However, it is recommended that an electrician check the electrical distribution box once every six months to ensure everything is working properly.

Warranty period

The warranty period is 2 years.

How long does the heat last after reaching the desired temperature?

If the tub is well insulated, the insulating cover is closed, and the water was at 40°C, the water may lose about 10°C after 24 hours in an outdoor temperature of 0°C. This applies to situations without electric heating.

What is the maximum temperature that can be set?

Heater: maximum of 40°C. Stove: the temperature increases as long as you keep adding fuel. A test was conducted where the temperature reached 60°C, but with more intense heating, it could be raised further. However, caution is advised to ensure the temperature in the tub does not exceed 45°C.

Are there plans for other stove models?

Not at the moment.

Are the acrylic tub, jets, and filters suitable for seawater?

No.

Are there any planned tubs with more jets

In the near future, we plan to introduce a new model, but we do not plan to add more jets, as this could cause the water to freeze during winter drainage.
